Full-Time Struggle, Part-Time Work in Community Colleges

This policy brief explores the prevalence and experience of part-time faculty in two-year community colleges. Evidence suggests part-time faculty receive lower pay and fewer worker protections and benefits than their full-time peers, which may negatively impact students. Recommendations for fostering more equitable workplace conditions and improving student outcomes follow.
